Varadero to Havana, Las Terrazas and Viñales

Day 1: Havana incl. City Tour - Buena Vista Social Night

We pick you up early in the morning with a Classic Car in Varadero.

On your first tour to Havana we stop as the famous Bacunayagua Bridge. Here you have a sensational view into the wide landscape, from the mountains to the sea.

Tip: Enjoy a fresh Cuban drink here!

Past the typical Cuban country life you reach after 2.5 hours the Cuban capital Havana.

First you go to your Casa, where our tour guide is waiting for you. After a short refreshment and lunch a sensational oldtimer convertible awaits you: On a 3 hour tour we show you the highlights of Havana. Together with our tour guide you can decide what you want to see.

You can take the program of our Hemingway Tour or our 3h City Tour. Our guide will advise you. If you want to buy souvenirs, cigars or rum, talk to our guide. He will show you the places where you can buy original goods.

After the Classic Car Tour you will return to your Casa. Now it is time to prepare for an unforgettable evening.

We have already reserved VIP tickets for the "Buena Vista Social Club" for you. For a whole evening you can enjoy the typical Cuban music and a first-class dinner in the best night club of Havana, the "Legendarios del Guajirito".

Of course a shuttle service to the event is organized for you. Our shuttle will bring you safely back to Casa after the event.

Day 2: Viñales

On the second day we will take a comfortable and air-conditioned Classic Car Minibus right into the tobacco growing area of the world-famous cigar brands "Havana" and "Cohiba".

In the Viñales region, visit the Hotel Los Jardines, from whose terrace you have a breathtaking view of the valley.

You will visit agricultural farmers and see tobacco plantations of the world famous Cuban cigars. Here you will learn everything about tobacco growing and you can have your personal cigar turned.

You can have lunch in a typical Cuban restaurant before going on to "La Cueva del Indio" (a cave of the indigenous people).

During the whole time you will get to know and enjoy the typical Cuban country life.

There is the possibility to ride a horse! If you want to ride, tell our guide already in the morning!

Day 3: Las Terrazas - Soroa

Drive with us to the only ecological village of Cuba "Las Terrazas". The village is located about an hour west of Havana in the province of Artemisa.

"Las Terrazas" is full of magnificent trees, refreshing streams, colourful birds, dozens of hiking trails and lots of nature.

This place is different from the rest of Cuba in every respect. The wonderful nature, the clear rivers, the idyllic waterfalls are a positive example of gentle tourism.

In this UNESCO biosphere reserve you can hike, ride horses, eat typical Cuban food and of course bathe in the crystal clear river water of the terraces.

Day 4: Matanzas - Saturno Cave

After an extensive breakfast you check out first in your Casa and then it goes to the region Matanzas.

We take you to the breathtaking Saturno cave with their stalactites, blind cavefish and cave shrimps.

In this cave you can swim and hardly any guest wants to miss this opportunity. However, it is important to start as early as possible. This cave is very popular and only relatively empty in the early morning hours.

After the visit of the cave, one goes to the city of Matanzas. Here, for example, you can visit the Castillo de San Severino (harbour fortress), the cathedral "St. Charles Borromeo".

In the early afternoon we take you back to Varadero to the starting point of our journey.
