Here we answer the most important questions about OldCarsVaradero.

If I take a tour with you, will I be picked up at my hotel?

Yes, this is part of our service. We will pick you up and bring you back to your hotel in the evening.

Can I choose my classic car myself?

Yes, we are one of the very few agencies where this is possible. There is only one restriction. If the car you have chosen has a technical problem, we will send a replacement car. You must never forget that our cars are 55-80 years old and drive every day. Therefore, technical problems are always taken seriously.
In the rare case that we have to exchange a car, we always send an equal or better car. But, statistically we send 96% of the time the car you choose. So it is really very rare.

Do you have cancellation fees?

No. You pay our tour only to the driver or tour guide directly in Varadero. After booking you will receive a reminder email 5 days before the tour. You must reply to this email and confirm your tour. If you confirm your tour, then your tour is considered organized.

In what currency do I have to pay for the tour?

We accept Euro (EUR) and Pound Sterling (GBP).

Can i change the date of my tour or transfer?

Anytime. Up to 24h before the start of a day tour changes are possible at any time. For our tours longer than one day, changes are possible up to 48 hours before the tour without any problems. Of course we do not charge any fees for this.

We are more than 4 people, do we need a second car?

Yes, maximum 4 guests per car, maximum 5 without tour guide.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially if you want to have a special car. Also, our website is not always available in Cuba (US Embargo). If you can't reach our website, our email system and the direct connection to our booking system still works. We will send you the page of our booking system with a reservation confirmation.

Are you a government or private agency?

We are 100% private project. This means you pay directly to the Cubans and not to a government agency.

Why are you the right agency for me?

We know what we are doing and we pay attention to the most important thing in a classic car tour: the quality of our tours, cars and tour guides. Our service has been awarded several times in the last years: 2018 "Travel and Hospitality Award" (UK), 2020 "International Travel Award" for "Cuba's Best Tourist Development Project" and 2021/22 "Luxury Travel Guide Award" for "Cuba's City Tour Company of the Year". Of course, with OldCarsHavana we have the status of "Travelers Choise" at Tripadvisor since 2021.
Since January 2022 we run OldCarsVaradero as a separate project, with the same quality as OldCarsHavana. Only the best cars and the best tour guides come to our agency.
